Habersham for the Holidays

The Christmas Season is a joyous time of year to celebrate Habersham for the Holidays! As a part of this inaugural event, Christmas on the Porch, Habersham residents are invited to decorate your porches with seasonal décor.
This month-long event, free and open to the public, invites residents of the Lowcounty to visit on a self-guided tour around our award-winning town!
In the spirit of the giving season, donations will be accepted in any dollar amount, and the recipient of the "Best Overall Porch" Award will choose a non-profit of their choice to contribute the Christmas on the Porch proceeds.
It's easy to participate! Just Ensure your décor is visible from cars on the street. Decorate in your own style! Classic, modern, southern, it is entirely up to you! Please plan to leave your décor up until after Christmas for visitors to enjoy.
We are pleased to welcome honorary guest judge, Beaufort’s Mayor Stephen Murray, who will bestow the Best Overall Porch Award to the winner of his choice for this year's contest. Please have your porch completed by Dec 1, 2022.
The winner will be announced on December 9th, at 6pm in Eastover Park at the annual Habersham Tree lighting. The winner will receive a check for the full amount of the proceeds written to the non-profit of their choice.
